Novel Therapies for Cardiac and Renal Disease
Our research
In recent years we have contributed to the discovery of several new and novel compounds that inhibit the progression of diabetic kidney and cardiovascular disease. In collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry we have tested the efficacy of emerging pharmaceuticals in pre clinical animal models of heart and kidney failure.
