Profile
Harshal Nandurkar is Head of Department, Department of Medicine, St Vincent's and Director of Haematology within St Vincent's Hospital. He is a Clinical Haematologist with a clear focus on research and teaching. Harshal's research interests include the interactions between thrombosis and inflammation and the role of phosphoinositides in cell signalling. His laboratory studies the role of natural anticoagulant mechanisms that function to negatively regulate thrombosis and suppress inflammation and subsequently investigates pivotal pathways.
