Profile
Dr David O'Neal is an Endocrinologist with an active involvement in the undergraduate teaching program in addition to examiner commitments at St Vincent's Hospital. His research interests are type 1 diabetes and factors predisposing to complications, where his main area of interest involves the role of oxidative stress, advanced glycation end-products and insulin resistance in the development of future complications. He is also responsible for clinical drug and device trials in the areas of lipid disorders and diabetes.
