Ms Amy Wilson O’Brien is a Research Assistant working under the supervision of Dr Suzanne Rogers. The research group is studying the molecular and cellular biology of mammalian glucose transporter (GLUT) proteins, their role in glucose homeostasis and disease, with particular emphasis on type 2 diabetes and cancer. Amy is preparing for submission of her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
