Alicia Jenkins's research interests are the prediction and prevention of retinal and renal damage and atherosclerosis in diabetes and of atherosclerosis in other high risk groups; risk markers and mediators studies relating to lipoproteins, inflammation, oxidative stress; advanced glycation end-products and endothelial function. She undertakes clinical and basic science studies and her clinical interests are diabetes and vascular disease risk factor management.
