Benefits?

  • Enhance your employment prospects

Analysis of the Graduate Destination Survey has shown that students are significantly more likely to gain employment related to their field of study if they have completed the Honours year. The greater exposure to the research process, additional knowledge and wider experiences of Honours graduates are all attractive to employers.

  • Work closely with a senior researcher and their research group

Our academic staff are internationally recognised leaders in their fields of research. You will gain insight through observing leading researchers up close, and benefit from their advice as you pursue your own novel research. Honours is a prerequisite for undertaking research higher degrees, and we offer excellent graduate opportunities.
